The clay pigeon shooting area is set in a natural wooded area with good access and  parking facilities, and some shooting stands are accesible for wheelchair users. Named Winnows Hill, it is particularly attractive being set within  Northumberland's Slaley forest.
Tea,coffee and hot sandwiches are available.

Directions to BEAMISH SPORTING CLUB Shooting Ground

Winnows Hil l :- Is located on the B6306 Hexham to Blanchland road at the bottom of Slaley Forest approx. 9 miles from Hexham and 4 miles from Blanchland.

Take the A68 road to Kilnpit Hill then turn at the cross-roads and head for Blanchland,continue past West Minsteracres until the road forks (Approx. 2 miles) turn to the left and continue until you reach the T junction,turn left and the shoot is located through the first gate on the right.

Please park in the car parking area.

Shooting commences at 10am untill approx 12noon.

A Practice trap is available and novices are welcome under personal supervision of a qualified instructor.

The Club is the holder of a current exemption certificate from Northumbria Police Force.
